An 18+ platform

Creating an account requires confirming you are 18 or older. In regions where the law requires it, including the United Kingdom and Australia, we use independent age-assurance checks before granting access. The same standard applies to content: characters must be adults, and anything that implies otherwise is removed.

What is never allowed

The categories below are rejected on submission, removed if discovered later, and — where the conduct is criminal — reported to the authorities. They apply everywhere on the platform, public and private, with no creative-framing exceptions.

• Minors. Any content that depicts, implies, or is coded to suggest a person under 18 in a sexualised or romantic context — stated ages, settings, framing, and visual cues all count, and a character that reads as underage is treated as underage regardless of its stated age. Criminal material is reported to national child-safety bodies, including the NCMEC CyberTipline in the United States, the Internet Watch Foundation in the United Kingdom, and the ACCCE in Australia.
• Real people. Characters that depict or are recognisably modelled on real people — celebrities, public figures, or private individuals — including lookalike and deepfake requests.
• Non-consent and cruelty. Depictions of non-consensual acts, sexual violence, or extreme cruelty, and any content involving animals in that context.
• Terrorism and violent extremism. Promotion of, instruction in, or recruitment for terrorism or violent extremist movements.
• Self-harm. Content that promotes, encourages, or instructs in self-harm or suicide.
• Crime. Material that provides instruction in serious crime.

How moderation works

Enforcement is layered. Prompts are screened before anything is generated and outputs are screened again after, using blocklists, trained classifiers, and specialist models tuned for the highest-risk categories. Human moderators review public submissions, edge cases, and every report. Accounts that attempt prohibited content face content removal and account bans, and unlawful material is reported to the authorities listed above.

Reporting a problem

Characters, images, and conversations carry an in-product report option, and every report we can act on is reviewed by a person. You can also reach the team any time through the Help Desk. If something on the platform does not match what is described here, we want to know.
